STEM Grants
Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators
The STEM Project Grant supports young minds across British Columbia and the Yukon in bringing their science, technology, engineering, and math ideas to life. Whether you’re experimenting in your school lab, exploring an innovative concept at home, or preparing to compete in a regional science fair, this grant helps remove financial barriers to discovery and innovation.
Students ages 9 to 18 (Grades 4–12) can apply for funding between $50 and $200 to purchase materials, access lab equipment or research, or cover travel and registration fees for science fairs. The goal is simple — to make STEM exploration accessible to all youth, no matter where they live or what resources they have.
Applications open September 15, 2025, with funds distributed by November 2025.

Inspiring STEM Learning in Every Classroom
The STEM Classroom Grant empowers educators across British Columbia and the Yukon to bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life through engaging classroom and community experiences. Whether you’re organizing a school science fair, starting a STEM club, or developing a hands-on project that inspires curiosity, this grant helps make it possible.
Educators can apply for up to $500 in funding to support unique STEM opportunities that enrich student learning, foster collaboration, and strengthen local STEM communities. The program aims to reduce financial barriers for teachers and schools, helping to create more equitable access to STEM education and increase participation in science fairs across the region.
Together, let’s spark curiosity and build a stronger foundation for the next generation of innovators.
Applications for the 2025 STEM Classroom Grant are currently closed.
