Laurel talks about her experiences competing at Science Fair and her project which consisted of self assembly by lateral capillary forces. Inspired by BBC's Planet Earth, she started her project using just water, bolts and a lasagna pan. Laurel tells us why Fredric Edwin Church's 'The Heart of Andes' was a huge inspiration to her love of art and science.
